The bed was comfortable, the linen was clean, and the room was in good shape for a cosy, affordable stay. The lights, fan, and switches all worked properly. The AC could use servicing, though it’s working for now. The bathroom let the place down. It didn’t have proper toiletries, and the bathing soap, conditioner, and other supplies should be refilled. The bathroom items should also have been sterilized before being given to us. Still, it was a fine stay with only a few complaints.

I booked an overnight room through the OYO website, but at check-in the receptionist demanded an extra fee and said I couldn’t stay without paying it. They spoke very rudely to me. This felt like a very unsafe and dangerous place. Please don’t go there or book through Oyo, especially.

After checking in and paying, I went to the room and found the toilet filthy, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The dim light wasn’t working either, so I called the staff member who had let me in and asked him to fix it and clean the toilet. They started shifting the beds and table so they could climb up to repair the light. I asked for another room with a working light and, hopefully, a clean toilet. The staff member angrily refused and told me I’d have to put up with the room I was given. When I asked why he was angry with me, he said I should use whatever the hotel provided.
