Cidade De Daman

We came for a team outing and staycation, and the location right at Devika beach is a real plus. Some rooms face the sea. The staff were friendly, and although we arrived a little before check-in, they gave us a room two hours early since it was ready. At night there was a disco party on the ground floor near the pool, with free entry for hotel guests, which we enjoyed. The rooftop Waves Cafe is also worth a visit for the sunset views.

We held our daughter’s destination wedding at Cidade de Daman, and our hearts are full after three days there. The way the property was laid out made it feel like one big mansion, with guests mixing easily and the ceremonies happening in our own “ghar aangan.” It was a hassle-free wedding thanks to the cooperation of the staff and management. Cidade de Daman stands beside the Arabian Sea and Daman’s well-lit promenade. The location is stunning. Though the property is around 30 years old, it’s very well maintained, with cosy, furnished rooms. The Royal Presidential suit, Arabian suits, and sea-view and pool-view rooms all offer panoramic views that feel restorative. The service was excellent. Staff were efficient, courteous, and helpful, and management took care to meet our needs. The food was another highlight, from welcome drinks and starters to seafood, main courses, chaat, desserts, sweets, and more. All our wedding guests enjoyed the food and hospitality. Thank you to Hitesh Tandel ji, Mr.Kevin, Mr.Srikanta Singha, Mr. Vijay Choudhary, Samim, Sikander, and the entire Cidade de Daman staff for making us feel at home. The lively café and rooftop had a great crowd enjoying the music and drinks. I also liked the sea-facing pools and restaurant seating, which add to the property’s atmosphere. The location itself is excellent. I stayed one night for a team outing, and our event included high tea, dinner, and breakfast. The food wasn’t especially impressive in either taste or quality. In the room, dusty cups and substandard toiletries stood out, and the walls and bathrooms could use fresh paint and maintenance. With better upkeep and food, the place could be a much better experience.

Hiteshbhai and the team made my daughter’s wedding at Cidade fantastic, taking care of every detail. The venue and food were amazing. I’d recommend it for a destination wedding or a memorable stay.
