Golden Chariot Hotel Daman

The rooms were spacious, and the hotel's location made it easy to get to nearby attractions. The views were great too. But breakfast was a letdown, with a very limited menu and food below average. Staff weren't attentive and seemed slow to respond to guests. I liked the location and room size, but the poor service and breakfast made the stay less enjoyable.

The sea view was lovely, and it's possible the other rooms are in better shape, but my stay was frustrating and nothing like what the online listing promised. I booked through Agoda and had trouble finding the place because it was listed as “Seaface Property,” not “Golden Chariot.” The bathroom was untidy and the tap dripped constantly. They didn't fix it after I pointed it out. The card lock on the door was broken, so they gave us a manual key instead, which felt like a security concern. Wi-Fi never worked. I reminded staff every 2-3 hours and even told them the access points had no power, but they ignored the problem.

The Hotel Manager was attentive and extremely cooperative, and we received excellent service at a reasonable cost. Our group of 66 former students from G S Medical College met here for a get-together a week ago. The location was fantastic, and the rooms were spacious and well appointed. Room service could use some improvement, but it was a positive experience overall. Recommended.

The location right in front of the beach was the one bright spot. Rain came straight into the room and balcony, leaving the whole room floor soaked. The door locks didn't work, so I had to go in and out through the window several times. Imagine getting drenched in the rain outside at night because the door won't open. I had to go down to reception every time I needed help with the doors, and responses to requests were slow and poor. For what they charge, it wasn't worth the money.
