The resort has a nice feel to it, and the property itself is pleasant. Food was genuinely good, and the indoor games area was kept up well and enjoyable. But the room condition overshadowed those positives. The rooms look badly renovated and worn, and changing to a ground-floor room didn't help. For the price, the standard felt nowhere near good value. Better room interiors and maintenance could make this a much better stay, but right now I wouldn't say it's worth the cost.

The spa was wonderfully relaxing, and the whole resort felt peaceful and well cared for. We had a superior room on a higher floor with an ocean view, and both the room and the sunset were magnificent. The food was incredibly good too. A wonderful stay at Silver Waves Resort.

The noise made it impossible for us to sleep properly, so we left after one night even though we'd paid for two. Music from reception could be heard in the room until 11:30 pm or later, and the narrow corridors carried every conversation, including loud housekeeping. The AC was noisy too. At checkout nobody asked why we were leaving or whether the stay had been satisfactory, and my request for a refund for at least the next day's breakfast was refused. We paid ₹23,000 for 2 nights. The location is convenient, just minutes from Devka Beach Promenade and the route to the night market/DMC market, but the property wasn't worth that price. On arrival, security let us in without checking our booking. Welcome drinks were left on a table, and reception staff didn't greet us. We'd booked a Superior Ocean View room expecting an upper floor, but got a ground-floor room by reception with a pool and ocean view. Its closeness to the pool meant chaos and noise, and the staff member carrying our one suitcase waited for a tip. The rooms were old and poorly maintained, with rusted bathroom fittings. I didn't take photos. The corridors were narrow and the rooms close together. This place cost more than Deltin, and I chose it based on pictures and reviews that looked more appealing. It turned out to be a very bad choice and a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend it.

We had a peaceful, pleasant stay at Silver Waves Resort & Spa. The breakfast had lots of tasty choices, and there was live music plus play areas with chess, ludo, table tennis, and carrom. We were there for our anniversary, and they reserved and decorated a table with balloons when we asked, which was a lovely gesture. The Devka Beach view was beautiful, the rooms were spacious, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was great. Highly recommended.
