Bonne Chance Heritage Residence

We were very happy with the stay. Our single deluxe room had enough space, though there was no direct sunlight or balcony, and it seemed suitable for families too. Most attractions, including vinayaka temple, rock beach, promenade beach, church, French town, and shopping street, are within about 1km, so you can walk to many of them. Basement parking is available, but the fit is tight and a little tricky.

The staff were friendly, polite, and quick to help. They even kept our luggage safely after we checked out at 11 a.m., until 11 p.m., which made the trip much easier. The place felt safe for families, couples, children, and solo travelers, and it was clean and comfortable. It was good value for a budget stay, with the essential facilities plus a small welcome kit and complimentary water bottles. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting.

Bonne Chance Heritage Residence charged us nearly ₹5,000 for just 10 hours, and the property was in terrible shape for that price. The rooms were poorly maintained and unhygienic, nothing like the online photos. The toilets were dirty and smelly, and didn't seem to have been properly cleaned before we arrived. Basic cleanliness and hospitality were missing. The whole arrangement felt unprofessional and disappointing. You can find much better hotels with decent hygiene and service for what they charge here. It felt like a waste of money. Be cautious when booking and don't rely on the ratings blindly. Management needs to improve the cleanliness and room upkeep and stop overcharging. Definitely not recommended.

We booked two deluxe rooms through Agoda for our group, and both had breakfast included. The breakfast was excellent and filling enough to keep us going around White Town until the afternoon. Hot water was centrally managed, and late-night showers weren't a problem. The AC was powerful, and the bed was spacious enough for three average-sized people. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were complimentary, and breakfast bookings also came with a 1 litre water bottle. The hotel is in the heart of White Town. We were welcomed warmly at reception, then assigned rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors after some paperwork. There’s an elevator. When we checked out early on our last day, the receptionist kindly let us leave our bags in the waiting room so we could explore for a few more hours. Parking is limited, with room for about three small hatchbacks at most. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it.
