Utkarsh Hotel Silvassa

The room had plenty of space, working AC, and hot water, but the rest of my two-day business stay was frustrating. I’d called a couple of hours before arrival to ask them to get things ready. After checking in, I found dusty sheets with red stains. They changed them only after I complained and pointed out the problem. Wi-Fi didn’t work all night, and the TV was out because the DTH recharge had expired. They said they couldn’t fix or arrange anything then, even though I’d asked because I wanted something to watch. I’d been told there was an in-house restaurant, but construction was going on and only parcel delivery to the door was available. Mosquitoes bit me through the night despite Mortin being sprayed. At checkout I showed them the bites on my hand. They apologized, but offered no discount or other arrangement. The stay wasn’t pleasant, and their service needs improvement. The tariff was 1500 plus GST, including AC, TV, hot water, and free Wi-Fi, but no breakfast or dinner.

The staff made the stay pleasant. Everyone was very helpful and nice, even though the rooms themselves were pretty ordinary.

The manager was polite and helpful whenever needed. The hotel is in a good spot, though it’s currently being upgraded, with work underway on the rooms and lobby.

The room was comfortable and the staff really polite. Food was good too. It’s budget friendly and right in the main part of Athal, so I’d recommend it.
