Agastya Sea View Resort & Spa

You can get either a mountain view or a sea view, whichever you ask for. The room feels like the best of both worlds. They serve vegetarian food only, and it was good. There’s also a game room with carrom, chess, table tennis, and plenty more, plus a swimming pool that’s great for cooling off in summer.

The balcony view over the ocean was beautiful, and honestly the main reason the stay was bearable. The resort has real potential, but the rooms and restaurant still need a lot of work. The room is advertised as a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, but beyond a fridge and microwave there aren’t any appliances. The water purifier never worked, the furniture felt cheap, and the flush kept running unless we held the button down. The AC either ran at 18°C or didn’t work at all. Dining was a deal-breaker for us. The restaurant is vegetarian only, which they do disclose, though many people visiting Konkan want local non-vegetarian dishes. Breakfast was included but had so few options it barely mattered. They kept refusing à la carte orders and pushed a tasteless buffet with very limited choices for about ₹750 per person. We also tried to get tea in the afternoon to watch the sunset, but were told the restaurant was closed until dinner. The rooms have a wonderful view, but the lodging quality and food experience were very poor.

The staff were so friendly and spoke good English, and we felt well looked after. We really enjoyed the hotel and our room’s spectacular sea views.

The sea view and quiet time with my family were the special parts of this trip. We came away with happy hearts, refreshed, and memories we won’t forget. Agastya Sea View Resort & Spa was spotless, hygienic, and well cared for, which made for a relaxed family stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were always smiling, helpful, and made us feel like family. Special thanks to Riya, Sejal, Subham, and Jaguriti, who helped a lot and made everything run smoothly.
