Whistling Waves Beach Resort

A peaceful atmosphere and excellent service made our stay a great one. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was awesome and freshly prepared. We really enjoyed the experience here with family and friends. One of the best places to stay in Anjarle, and highly recommended!

We felt welcome from check-in through check-out. The whole team was warm, attentive, and proactive, and the hospitality really stood out. Our beachfront luxury room was spacious and impeccably clean, with every comfort we could want. Waking up to the ocean and taking in the view from the balcony was pure bliss. Meals were another highlight, from breakfast to dinner. Everything was tasty and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the kitchen staff made each meal memorable. Whistling Waves Resort gave us a delightful escape, and we’re already planning to come back. For a beautiful location, great food, luxurious rooms, and top-notch service, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

There’s a clear gap between the rooms near the kitchen, which were better maintained and had easier access to services, and the luxury room we stayed in, the resort’s most premium option. The setting near the Anjarle lighthouse is stunning, with peaceful sea views and a quiet beachside feel. We stayed from 23rd to 26th October in a Luxury Room, and the natural beauty alone makes this place worth visiting. The food was a highlight: both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were excellent, and the kitchen team was flexible. They’ll cook fresh fish you bring for an extra charge, a nice local touch. The room’s basin was clogged, and basic upkeep seemed lacking. Power cuts are common in the area, but the backup was unreliable, particularly in rooms across the road from the main resort. Wi-Fi didn’t work about 90% of the time, mobile coverage was poor, and communication relied entirely on WhatsApp, which isn’t practical without signal. An intercom is badly needed. The outdoor lights didn’t work, and the water tank ran dry at one point. These are basic amenities that shouldn’t fail in a premium room. The resort also seemed short-staffed. Most responsibilities fell to Chandrakant, the manager, who was extremely helpful and did his best to handle everything efficiently. His dedication deserves recognition. With better infrastructure, more staff, and consistent attention across room categories, this place could become one of the region’s top beachside stays. The location is unbeatable, and the experience could match it with the right improvements.

We had a very pleasant stay here for a year-end celebration. The SEA VIEW COTTAGE location and private beach access are the resort’s main draw. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian food were delicious, especially the FISH THALI, which tasted purely homemade. The manager and staff were polite and helpful. It’s a great place to spend quality time with family and friends by the sea, away from the usual crowded spots.
