It's conveniently placed just below glenarys, and the food is good, but the rooms are in terrible shape. The basin tap is broken, the geyer doesn't work, and neither the flush nor the bathroom door lock works. The main door lock was loose too. The amenities are outdated and need repairs, but the hotel isn't maintaining them despite being in such a prime location.

The rooms were damp, dark, and smelly, with no heating. They even have rooms in the basement, and the place felt very shady to us. We had paid in advance, so we felt we had no choice but to stay. They take bookings through agencies, then caused a payment dispute and chaos at checkout. They kept us there for about an hour over it. I've never had this kind of problem before. My personal advice is not to book here.

My stay was very disappointing. Water supply was irregular, with frequent shortages, and the staff were rude. The rooms and kitchen were dirty, the hotel smelled unpleasant, and cleanliness seemed poorly maintained.

The room was spacious, the washroom clean, and the rate affordable. Mall road is less than a minute away. You get a landscape view, though there's no Kanchanjunga view.
