Cozy Homestay

Dinner was good value for money, and the service was attentive and efficient. The homestay was clean, stylish, roomy, and well equipped, with comfortable rooms and good service where we ate. We had a lovely first impression and were very pleased with our stay. The setting is beautiful, the staff are great, and the room's view of Mount Kanchenjunga was mesmerizing. Everything about the homestay felt exceptional. I hope to return for a longer visit.

My personal experience was very sad. The staff were rude and behaved badly. This is the worst hotel in Darjeeling.

The food was good and homely, and the owner was very polite. We booked two rooms for three nights and four days, including one with a view. Fog kept the scenery hidden on the first day, but on the second we saw Kanchanjungha from our bedroom, which was amazing. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the mall road, though shared cars were available at a very reasonable cost. If you're after a clean, pleasant homestay on a tight budget, this is a good option. 🙂

The room was clean and had an excellent view, and the food was very good. Hotel owner Ramen Mitra was outstandingly friendly and welcoming, and the place had a real family, home-like atmosphere. Darjeeling Mall is 1 km from the hotel.
