OYO 19941 Hotel Blue Diamond

The rooms were totally disgusting, about the size of a small cabin. I was completely disappointed with the property. Safety is a major concern too, anyone can come into the room without being questioned.

The rooms were tiny, with even smaller washrooms, and cleanliness was a major problem. The blankets and bedsheets were unclean, and there was a bad smell that lingered throughout. Water supply was inconsistent, and the staff seemed uninterested and asleep on the job. I had to cut my stay short because the experience was horrible. In my view, it’s the worst hotel in Darjeeling and in my whole travelling experience so far. Not recommended.

There were stains on the bedsheets, and the rooms weren’t properly cleaned, with a lot of hair on the floor. The rooms were small and smelly. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in my life.

The hotel’s systems are taking advantage of tourists’ compulsion, and I strongly don’t recommend it, especially since I’d taken a tour package and the tours and travels agencies booked the hotel. Even then, they provided the car too late for the sightseeing sites. It was very disappointing. The rooms were dirty, damp, clumsy, and so small you could barely walk, with only enough room for one person at a time to pass the bed on the way to the bathroom. Bedsheets and blankets stank. Staff behaviour was disgusting. I called many times about the geyser and didn’t get a positive response. Cleanliness: 01/10. Space: 02/10. Services: 01/10. This is the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever come across, and the worst experience. I’ll never suggest BLUE DIAMOND hotel to anyone.
