We were a music team looking for an affordable place to stay while planning a music video shoot. The owner spoke to us rudely and seemed to suspect we were up to something shady. She also worried that we might mistreat her daughters. I wouldn't recommend staying here. It was a waste of money and left us with a bad experience and a damaged image.

Uncle and Aunty made me feel like family, and were caring, welcoming, and helpful as I was new to Darjeeling. They also respected my personal space, so I felt at home during the whole stay. The location is really convenient, with taxis nearby and the Himalayan Zoological park just across the road. The room was clean, with plenty of storage, blankets and towels, and a lovely view from the windows. There’s a kitchen with proper utensils guests can use, too. Everything was well equipped, and I was comfortable throughout.
Aunty, the owner, was very friendly, and the homemade food tasted good. The rooms were cozy, and the whole stay felt like being at home away from home. We had a very good experience 👍🏻.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we really liked the ambience. The place is well maintained, close to nature, and in a beautiful location. Uncle and Aunty welcomed us warmly and treated me like part of the family. The home cooked food was yummy, and the cooking area and food preparation were clean and neat. A big thanks to Uncle for taking us on a morning walk and to the Tea Garden. They’re such good people. We had the best experience staying here, and I’d happily come back again and again. Thanks, Uncle & Aunty, for being such nice hosts and giving us a good time. I’d definitely recommend this place.
