Fabhotel Jms Residency

The bed was comfortable, though I found matches and a plate with cigarette ashes in the drawers. At checkout, nobody was at reception, so I left the key at a nearby shop and that counted as checking out. When I arrived, the hotel couldn't find my Agoda booking and said it was under an old ID. They eventually gave us a room, but it had cracked walls, no Wi-Fi, a lagging TV, a poorly cleaned washroom, and a mirror I couldn't see my face clearly in. Breakfast had been included in my booking, but they again blamed the wrong ID and said they didn't provide it at all. I also wasn't given a water bottle at check-in and was told to buy water outside. They finally gave me one later in the evening.

Great location, and the hotel is very clean. The staff were really helpful.

Booking.com reviews are misleading. From what I experienced, cleanliness, service, and maintenance here were among the worst I've seen. On arrival, I was told the room key was missing, but that it was fine because there were CCTV cameras. That didn't seem like a normal response from a hotel, and the receptionist appeared clueless about what they could offer. They resisted at first when I asked to change rooms, but eventually agreed. There was no room service, nobody at reception at night, and not even basics like tea, coffee, towels, or toiletries. The place was untidy. I stayed two nights, and the second was a mess: loud music was coming from outside option 4 30 am, and people kept talking loudly. The TV and remote both didn't work. The cost was far from what I'd expect from a hotel. Calling this a three-star place on the app is a joke. I wouldn't want anyone staying here until they pull up their socks.

The staff were decent and polite, but that didn't make up for how poorly kept the place was. The bedsheets weren't neat or clean, and there were cigarette stubs on the bed. The washroom was especially unhygienic, with visible black fungus. Poor cleanliness and maintenance made the stay unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it without major improvements.
