Hotel Grand Legacy

Service was up to the mark, and the room was spacious, clean, cozy, and had all the basic amenities. It's in a good spot right on the road, though there's no scenic view, which isn't surprising in a valley.

I stayed here with my family, and the rooms and service felt very ordinary. It didn't seem like a 3 star stay. No one helped bring our luggage in, and the room geyser wasn't working. Breakfast also didn't have a buffet. My wife left her valuable finger ring in the room, by the side table, and we remembered when and why she put it there. We asked several times if it had been found, but got a very cold response. The reception lady said she'd check with housekeeping and let me know, but after 4-5 calls there was never a callback. I had to keep calling and asking for an update. There was no apology, empathy, or information. Some might wonder if we really left it there, but we know she did. The amenities weren't up to the mark, and the service didn't feel professional. I also didn't feel our belongings were safe, and it wasn't worth what we paid.

The rooftop hall had a lovely atmosphere for relaxing or getting together. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with modern amenities, a very comfortable bed, and a clean, luxurious washroom. We had a comfortable, memorable stay.

I've stayed here twice, and the rooms were very poor quality both times. On my first visit, the bathroom shower was faulty, and the room wasn't what I'd expect from a 'so called 3 star' place. On the second visit, my room wouldn't lock. They tried to fix it, but I asked for a different room. In that one, the bathroom door locked automatically and couldn't be opened from outside, so I had to call reception to get it opened again. The property is really overpriced, and I'd never book a room here again.
