High-season rates are understandable, but charging ₹4,500 doesn’t excuse basic upkeep problems. The dusty furniture, stained tea cups, cockroaches in the lobby, faulty shower, and slow hot water are hygiene and maintenance issues. At a minimum, the room should meet the standard that was promised.

Dust on the side tables and dirty tea cups were bad enough, and then we saw cockroaches in the lobby. The shower barely worked because most of its holes were blocked. Hot water took nearly two buckets of cold water to come through. The room hygiene and upkeep were extremely poor, far below what I expected from a hotel. Very disappointing.

I felt safe and comfortable here as a female traveller. The room was well maintained, and the staff were hospitable, prompt, and helpful during our two-night stay.

The food tasted reasonable and came in decent portions, but it was served on visibly stained, dirty plates, which raised hygiene concerns. Cleanliness was also a major problem in the room: the washroom was dirty and partly non-functional, and the old furniture looked poorly maintained. The room was spacious, but I paid ₹3,500 and felt overcharged for that condition. The hotel is in a good area, though getting across Library Chowk to reach it is a hassle, especially with the traffic.
