Hotel Crystal Palace

Everything in the room was in good shape, and it was nicely furnished. The facilities were good as well.

The rooftop restaurant had a beautiful view, and I really liked the service. The food was very good too. The hotel is a little away from mall road, but they arranged pickup and drop-off between there and the hotel. Thanks to the staff for looking after me. I'd like to stay at crystal palace again on my next visit to mussoorie.

The Himalayan views from Hotel Crystal Palace were the best part of my stay in Mussoorie. It’s away from the city centre, though, so getting around town to explore wasn’t very easy. The rooms and facilities could use some improvement. The decor felt dated and the amenities were basic. It may suit someone looking for a budget-friendly place with a great view, as long as they keep the location and facilities in mind.

The staff were the best part of the stay. Every member was polite and seemed to understand hospitality. Their shuttle service also helped with the dusty, congested location, and the driver was especially professional and polite. The rooms were average, about 3.5/5. The TV didn't work in the bad weather, and once it got network access, only seven channels were available. The rest weren't subscribed by the hotel. I'd rate the location 3/5 and the service 5/5. The food could have been a better experience, maybe 4/5, if they'd followed my requests. I asked for less spice at dinner, but my curry was very spicy. Later I asked for extra ginger in my tea because of a sore throat, but couldn't taste any ginger. In the morning I ordered a bread omelette and coffee, asking for it extra strong since I'm not used to milky coffee. It came as a sweet milk drink. When I asked for stronger coffee, they gave me a ₹1 Nescafé sachet. I still had a great experience with the kind people working there. Hospitality can have its lapses, and I hope they take this as constructive feedback and improve their service for future guests.
