Hotel Maha Laxmi Palace by OYO Rooms

The location is about 1.2 km from ISBT, roughly 4 minutes by car or auto, but the property itself felt like a very poor dormitory and was unfit for a stay. It was somehow clean, though not worth the price. I strongly advise paying through OYO, Agoda, Trivago, or another facilitator rather than paying the hotel directly. I booked through OYO and made a part payment. The hotel’s phone number wasn’t working, so I worried I might have been scammed. When I reached the manager through OYO customer service on my second attempt, he only said, “Okay, come then. Where did you pay? Have you paid it all? Pay the rest to the property,” and hung up. He was extremely rude and unreceptive. I managed one night, then called customer service at 2 AM to arrange a different OYO property for the next day. The geyser didn’t work, some rooms had no geyser, and there were no room heaters. One room had blankets, while in the other the blanket was lying on a chair. I felt cheated and was very dissatisfied. It was the worst OYO hotel of this quality I could have imagined.
