Hotel Milan Palace

My best bus left me stranded at midnight, so I had to stay here. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. There were cockroaches, and the bedsheets were torn. I was afraid of ticks all night and couldn’t sleep in the bed.

Please think about your safety before staying here. I don’t consider this hotel safe for couples or families. The rates are high, but the service is the worst I’ve experienced. People in a neighbouring room were drinking, shouting, and walking around the lobby. The electricity kept cutting out. Please don’t stay here.

We ended up having to cancel the booking and run around looking for another hotel. The property manager’s behaviour and way of speaking were completely rubbish. We booked through Oyo Rooms and had a confirmed reservation, but the manager refused to give us a room because our Oyo rate was cheap and the rent at reception was higher. During that time, you could also get into trouble over an RT PCR report, even if you were fully vaccinated. Overall, they seemed focused on profit and didn’t let us stay.

It’s the sort of kamchalau hotel that works for an overnight stay if that’s all you need. It’s near restaurants, the railway station, and the market. The fan was very disturbing, there was no room service, and the place was full of cockroaches. The pillow and bedsheets were dirty. Bad experience.
