Hotel Victoria Inn by OYO Rooms

The place is isolated, with no food nearby. The staff seemed focused on making money: they took payment first and then provided no service. They wouldn't even give Wi-Fi in a non-AC room. The mattress was poor, and there was no water for bathing or hot water. The manager and staff were rude, they wouldn't carry my bag upstairs, and the lift was in bad shape. This is a genuine review of a very bad hotel.

Don't trust the photos online, the hotel looked completely different in person. Service wasn't proper, breakfast choices were very limited, and the people were rude. They charged us without giving a bill when a local friend came to visit, arguing that he was an extra guest. It's one of the worst hotels I've seen, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We had an amazing stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had no odor, just what you want when visiting a new city. Staff were supportive, helpful, and understanding, and the hospitality gets five stars from me. The hotel is right by the road, with restaurants around it and room service that brings food inside. It's only 1.5 Kms from the Alipore Zoo. I'd suggest booking here without worry, you'll like it.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the dining space, cupboard, and bathroom facilities were good. It's right by the main road, so road services are easy to access at any time. Alipore Zoological Park and CMRI hospital are both within walking distance.
