Oyo Townhouse 011 Esplanade

The rooms are cozy and well kept, with an attached bathroom, AC, TV, proper lighting, and good cleanliness. Food and service were good too. It’s a really new place on Park Street. They do have car parking, but if it’s full you may need to leave your car a little way from the hotel. The restaurant isn’t ready for diners yet, they’re still working on it. Booking online makes it economical, otherwise it may be expensive. A good experience, so 5 stars.

I was comfortable here as a couple, with no harassment or problems. The room and bathroom were neat and clean, though a little smaller than the pictures but still a good enough size. Support was awesome, and the breakfast buffet was great. It’s a good location for shopping, about 500-800 m from Newtown market. The one downside I noticed was hearing noise from other rooms, which might bother you sometimes.

The location is very good, and the staff were extremely helpful, especially Amit and Ayon. But the hotel looks good at first glance and then feels like a trap. Despite being newly renovated, I found bed bugs. The bathroom was unclean, the floor was dirty, hot water felt like normal water, and the flush didn’t work properly. They didn’t clean the room or bathroom regularly unless I asked. Breakfast was bad, and the reception AC wasn’t working either. I heard three or four customers shouting at staff about different problems. They try to offer every kind of service but fail at each step because they don’t have enough staff. I can’t recommend this hotel.

The street can feel crowded, which makes sense since a famous market is within walking distance and draws shoppers. The reception, kitchen, and admin staff were all very helpful, and I loved their hospitality. The rooms were cleaner than at other hotels in this city, and the place was well worth the price.
