Some rooms had a bad smell, and breakfast didn’t offer much choice. The reception is on the second floor, something I hadn’t seen mentioned in any review, and there’s no elevator, which isn’t great for older people. The staff were almost rude and showed zero customer orientation. I believe OYO has this kind of effect on properties.
The bedsheets, towel, and quilt were really untidy, and the staff were just okay. I also wouldn’t call this a couple friendly hotel. The surroundings were unusually crowded, and I couldn’t sleep. There’s a mosque nearby, which makes it noisier at namaz time. If you’re looking for a calm place and a sound sleep, this isn’t it. NOT RECOMMENDED.
There’s no lift in the building, and the hotel is on the second floor, so get help from the service boy if you’re carrying a lot of luggage. The hotel itself was nice. Food was okay, though expensive, and my experience overall was good.
I booked through OYO Rooms as a student, then walked 4 km to the hotel and was refused check-in. They said the booking price was too low to let me stay and pressured me to cancel. I was harassed and ended up waiting on the footpath for 3 hours while trying to reach customer care. Nothing got resolved, and I had to leave.
The rooms were good, but don’t order from the hotel kitchen. The food was the worst I’ve ever had.
