Jasmine Residency Hyas Homestay

A very frustrating stay. One room had a broken washroom and the lights didn't work in another. When we complained, the woman who had booked us at 10:30 pm said her duty ended at 8 pm and wouldn't help with basic needs. Another guest asked her to change a bedsheet and got the same response. When we asked for a refund, she said she'd take 500 rupees off it for the 30 minutes we'd spent in the room, even though the problems were theirs. Very disrespectful and unsatisfactory. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room was a decent size and affordable, so it felt like good value for my two-night stay. I mostly used it to sleep, and the overall experience was quite good. Dehradun gets rain at random, as you know, and there was a foul smell in the room or washroom. I managed with my deo. They should provide food, since I had to order from other restaurants. There wasn't really room service either: for water, I had to call reception or take the water container there myself.

The rooms are decent and well equipped for the price, but the toilets were a deal breaker. If clean, odor-free toilets matter to you, this place won't suit you.

The rooms are pretty good and the rates affordable. I had the best experience, and if you're planning to stay 10-15 days, this is the place for you. Just go for it without a second thought!
