The host, a retired army uncle, was the one good part of the stay. He was polite and kind. The guest house itself was in poor shape, smelled of leakage, and wasn’t properly cleaned or maintained. The housekeeping boy was very lazy and seemed not to care when things weren’t working smoothly. There’s no food available at the property, so you have to drive toward Dehradun town to find something to eat. For the price, it wasn’t a good place to stay, especially with cheaper properties nearby that have better facilities.

The staff were cooperative, but the rooms, especially the bathrooms, were very dirty. One of the two rooms we booked smelled awful. We had to keep going back to the help desk to get the rooms cleaned. I wouldn’t recommend booking here unless there’s no other option.

Call the property to confirm before booking online. They don’t accept online business bookings, and someone has listed it on mmt as non-refundable. I had to pay again at the property. The owner was polite and helpful, but that didn’t solve the booking issue.
