Simran Guest House

The building felt poorly maintained and dim, with narrow corridors and some rooms that had no light even in the middle of the day. Faucets leaked, the washrooms were uncomfortable, and the beds had rock hard pillows. Staff were usually inside instead of at reception. Even after reminders, they didn’t bring drinking water or a towel, or fix the TV, and seemed very laid back and unconcerned. The low price is the only plus, so it might do for a quick stop. I wouldn’t recommend it for families, and would book only if there were no other options.

It’s a clean, well-maintained guest house in the center market, and the service and response were good. Just keep in mind it’s a guest house, not a hotel, and the location isn’t fancy.

The toilets were quite clean, but the beds needed cleaning too. They treated hot water as an add-on, even though it’s a basic need.

There was no electricity, mosquitoes kept buzzing, and there was no receptionist to help if something went wrong at night. It’s a dilapidated, half-constructed building. My honest advice is to avoid it.
