We sent our tour and travel vehicle to Mussoorie with guests who were staying at this hotel, and the staff treated our driver very badly. They spoke rudely to him, didn’t provide food, and wouldn’t give him a blanket. Drivers are people too, and they’re part of the service team. Without our client, the hotel would not have received that booking. This behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional. We won’t recommend the hotel to tour operators or clients in future.

The hotel felt like the lowest point of our trip, and I wouldn’t go back. The rooms smelled bad and had poor ventilation. They looked much better in the pictures than they did in person. Breakfast was so bad that we didn’t eat it, but when we asked for a refund, they refused. The receptionist even gave us a handwritten food bill for things we never ordered. We booked two rooms and were told we could choose between a couple of options, but the helper wouldn’t let us see the other rooms. Staff were uncooperative throughout. The road to the hotel is extremely difficult to drive on, really only suitable for a scooty or bike. Everyone staying there seemed to have trouble with it. We rented a bike despite having a car, just to avoid damaging the car. At more than 2000 rs per night, I’d be concerned about what I was paying.

The housekeeping and restaurant teams were cooperative, the service was good, and the food was delicious. Our room was clean and faced the valley. The front desk, though, wasn’t helpful. The hotel says it’s on the mall road, but it’s actually on a very steep slope, and taxis can’t enter the mall road. There’s no pickup service from management either. We asked the front desk to send someone to carry our luggage, and they refused.

There’s no good access for senior citizens, and the food was very average. The rooms were filthy and dusty, and the bathrooms were very unhygienic. We complained to the manager, but they never took it seriously. The staff were rude and unfriendly, and neither they nor management seemed to have empathy for travellers. The road there is steep and narrow, making it very difficult to turn. I honestly don’t understand how people rated this place 3 stars or higher. It isn’t worth even 1 star. If you’re looking for a family stay, please avoid it.

The staff were helpful, and I was lucky to get a room with a very good view. OYO gave me a good discount. The WiFi didn’t work, but the water heated up quickly. This spot isn’t suitable for senior citizens or anyone with back problems. You have to walk downhill for 10 minutes to reach the hotel, as shown in the video.
