We arranged our daughter’s birthday party at the restaurant for about 10-12 children under 14. Beforehand, we were told it would cost around ₹5,000-₹6,000, but afterwards the bill came to ₹20,000. That seemed completely unreasonable and misleading for what was arranged and served. We paid separately for the cake and decorations ourselves, and the restaurant’s snacks were nowhere near adequate in quantity or quality for the price. The service was extremely slow, and both the staff and the elderly male manager behaved in a way I found unprofessional and unacceptable. During the billing discussion, the manager spoke disrespectfully and humiliatingly, leaving my family embarrassed and distressed. I was ready to call the police, but my husband stopped the situation from escalating at that moment. This raises serious concerns for me about overcharging, misleading prices, unfair trade practices, and customer harassment. Authorities should inspect and monitor places like this so customers aren’t deceived, exploited, or mistreated. It was an extremely upsetting experience for my family.

We’re regular customers, so it was especially disappointing to visit Hotel Blessing Bells, Ballupur, Dehradun with family last Saturday night and get such poor hospitality, food, and service. A group party made the restaurant so noisy it was uncomfortable to eat, and the Chicken Tikka arrived undercooked, so we sent it back. There was live music at first, but the owner came in and stopped it, citing noise rules, while the group’s loud DJ kept playing. It felt like different rules applied to different guests. The bill was wrong and needed correcting, and the staff seemed unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Only the location is good. The hotel was damp throughout, the front desk was rude, and they practically forced us to eat at their restaurant instead of ordering from outside. We’ve ordered food from there three or four times, and each time it was tasteless and burnt. Terrible food and service.
