V One Hotel - The Competent Palace

Apart from the location, I found nothing good about this property. The room had no amenities and was damaged, with no cleanliness at all. There were visible stains on the linens and AC comforts, and the washroom was in terrible condition. I wouldn’t recommend it and would never stay here again. I don’t know how it got a 4 star rating.

We paid a significant amount for this stay, but the service was utterly disappointing. In room 220, the first thing we noticed was a foul smell, so they moved us. The replacement room had dirty, smelly bedsheets and pillow covers, which meant asking for another change. Dinner was extremely poor quality, and the next morning basic tea items weren’t available. We called the service staff twice and still had to wait a long time. The worst part was in the bathroom, where the water suddenly stopped while I was using it. I was left without clothes, waiting for water, and after several calls they brought buckets. It was deeply uncomfortable and humiliating. This deserves negative feedback from us.

The hotel is clean, with plenty of greenery and parking, and it’s on the main road in Selaqui. There are comfortable rooms, a swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. The food quality needs attention, and the A/C condition should be improved.

Everyone at The Hotel Competent was pleasant and greeted us with a smile. I was very happy with the stay, loved it, and would recommend it to others. Thanks to everyone, good job and keep it up. I’ll surely come back soon.
