Airport Hotel Olive & Blue

At least the morning chai was okay. The included breakfast looked decent, but I didn’t feel like eating because the rest of the building was so off-putting. The property’s condition and cleanliness were far worse than I expected. I’ve booked plenty of places on Booking.com while travelling through India, so I know photos aren’t always accurate, but this was something else. We rented four rooms, and everyone complained that the bed frames were broken and didn’t support the mattresses properly. The sheets were stained and hadn’t actually been washed. There were marks all over the walls, coffee stains on the blinds, and mothball smells coming from the bathroom drains. Wallpaper was peeling, my blind hung off its bracket, and the chair cushions were stained. I felt I needed something between me and the chairs and beds. The location wasn’t great, though I did feel safe. My friends were propositioned for sex at every corner when they went out for cigarettes. Customer service was terrible and didn’t favor guests. We had paid for three nights, but when our flights changed, we asked before the 6pm deadline in the Booking.com reservation details for a refund on the last two nights. They refused even a partial refund. If you stay here, I’d book and pay one night at a time so you don’t get stuck paying for awful rooms you’ll regret.
