Hotel Shanti Villa was peaceful and reasonably priced. The area is close to the station and has some great food stalls, and plenty of foreigners and well-off families stay around here. When you arrive at NDLS Station, local autowalas may say bad things about the locality, but don't take their word for it. The reception managers, Mr. Abhijeet and Ms. Aarti, were cooperative and helped us with various issues. It was a very pleasant stay.

Check-in and check-out went smoothly, so the stay was hassle-free. The staff were polite and ready to help with requests, and the rooms were clean, maintained well, and had the basic amenities. Hotel Shanti Villa is conveniently placed for major markets and transport areas in Delhi. I had a comfortable stay and would recommend it ❤️

For around 2000 per night, the rooms are good. The only snag was booking a taxi, as it took a while for drivers to reach the property and confirm the ride.

At Shanti Villa in Paharganj, the welcoming atmosphere, spaciousness, decor, and smiling staff made my Delhi stay more comfortable and hospitable than any other hotel experience there. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the hotel is a short distance from New Delhi railway station. Abhijit babu deserves special mention for his infectious warmth and attentiveness to guests. Aarti Madam at the front desk also has a graceful presence that makes guests feel at home.

On our first day back from sightseeing, we found shattered glass scattered across the room floor and inside our luggage. It was dangerous, and the staff were shockingly uncooperative, making a miserable stay even worse. They also pressured us to order food at more than double its actual price. It came from somewhere else, not their own restaurant. After we contacted MakeMyTrip, the booking was abruptly cancelled and staff demanded extra payment. The location added to the frustration. This was a nightmare, and I strongly advise people to avoid Hotel Shanti Villa.
