The TV was old and kept flickering, and getting to my room meant climbing to the fourth floor every time since there’s no lift. The hotel faces a busy circle, so the constant honking made it hard to sleep. My room was in terrible shape: the floor hadn’t been swept, the curtains looked like they hadn’t been washed in decades, and the sheets were stained and clearly not fresh. The lock couldn’t be secured from outside, so I had to leave my luggage at reception whenever I went out. I was completely disappointed with the stay and can barely think of anything good to say.

The price was decent and the staff were helpful. Cleaning was below standard, though. Areas that don’t get touched right away, like the walls, were left dirty, and there was mold on the shower head.

Baljeet Lodge felt homely, and the staff were polite and cooperative. The rooms were clean, with basic amenities, and the rates were budget friendly. A comfortable, simple and convenient place for travelers.

The rooms are spacious, and service was superb. It’s near Mohammadpur and easy to get to. They provide food too, but I didn’t like it. The daily rate is a little high, at 3,000+360 tax per day.

The rooms facing the road have a nice view, and mine was clean. Mr. Sahoo at reception was nice. There’s no kitchen, but they arrange meals and breakfast from restaurants, or you can order through e-commerce operators. They’ll provide plates and spoons. The location worked well for me, with the airport about 30 minutes away and Bikaji Kama Place and the Metro Station a five minute walk. A nice experience and good value for money.
