I planned to stay two nights but left after just one. Getting my refund for the second night took a month and a lot of negotiation. The place was pleasant enough, though expensive for what it is. The rooms are bedrooms in apartments, so it feels more like a sublet apartment building than a hotel. The location was a bit awkward, local shops weren’t easy to reach, and there was an unpleasant smell from the nearby canal.

Bungalow 157 was in a handy spot, with places to eat, pharmacies, shops, bakeries, and more just a short walk away. We were very happy with the service and the spacious, modern room. Everything was very clean, and breakfast was included. We booked for one night while traveling from Delhi to Dharamshala, arriving by plane at 5:30am and leaving again at 4am the next morning. Aso arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport and take us back.

The rooms are thoughtfully laid out, and we slept really well. The place was quiet, close to restaurants and a supermarket, and the air felt pleasant, which is no small thing in Delhi. It’s tastefully decorated too. The staff were professional and pleasant, and the director was kind, attentive, and available. We had a perfect stay and would happily come back. We recommend it without hesitation.

This place feels like a home away from home. It’s beautiful, very clean, well organised, and well maintained, with a green, quiet setting and a great location. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and will do what they can to meet your needs. It also feels very safe and secure. I’ll definitely stay here on every trip to Delhi.
