The rooms are great, the location is nice, and the staff are lovely. Evergreen Guest House is very affordable and good value. The owner, Uncle, has a wonderful manner, and tiffin service is available around the clock. If you're in Delhi, I really recommend giving it a try. You're welcome to stay anytime.

The room was reasonably priced, so it could work for someone seeking a budget stay. The owner, though, showed remarkable attention to detail. He came into my room without warning to check carefully whether I use illegal drugs or might be interested in them, which suggests the property has very strict standards. He also asked closely about my travel plans, whether I'd arranged a driver or tour, and how much cash I had. When I said I don't use drugs, my tour was already arranged, and I had only 100 rupees, he wondered if I might actually have a 10,000 yen bill in my wallet. Quite an insight. Everything above is factual.

A quiet evening and a nice atmosphere around the hotel made for a pleasant stay. It’s within walking distance of central station, and the staff were friendly. Rooms are affordable, there’s A/C, and drinking water is free.
