FabHotel Tryfena East of Kailash

I was offered this hotel after my check-in at another place was denied for some reason. I’d initially turned it down through Goibibo because of the reviews, but once I got here, everything seemed right: the amenities, clean rooms, air conditioning, and staff. I also ordered tea and coffee from the menu, and both were great. It met what I’d expected.

I was exhausted when I arrived around 10 pm, so I ended up sleeping on one corner of the bed with my stole over me. The sheet had spots and clearly hadn’t been changed after the previous guest, the room wasn’t clean, and the washroom didn’t look hygienic. There was even a razor blade in the commode, which the manager said was fine. The hotel was rude and made no effort to fix anything. I booked through MMT, and they gave me a RS 400 voucher but left me in the same room. They shouldn’t be charging INR 2000 for a night. Railway retiring rooms available for 200’s are better than this. It was the worst hotel booking experience I’ve had.

I never checked in, but I still received a bill, and I’ve lodged a complaint asking for a refund. @fabhotels, please fast-track it. Complaint ID: 5855682. The hotel refused to honor the tariff offered through Fab, saying there had been no agreement or negotiation at that price. Fab’s team told me the hotel had agreed to it. That’s unacceptable from both @fabhotels and the hotel. Customers make plans around a room booking, and those plans get disrupted when check-in is denied. If you offer a discounted price, make sure the hotel will accept it so customers aren’t inconvenienced.

We checked out the very next morning and moved to another hotel. I’d booked Admiral suites through the Fab hotels app, but a couple of days before, they shifted our reservation to nearby signature plaza, saying it was in the same class and the move was for operational reasons. When we arrived, it turned out to be a guest house without even the basic facilities. Fab hotels has highly rated places on its website, but that didn’t match what we found. I’ve asked Fab hotel for a refund and am waiting to hear back.
