Goel Residency

I was in another city while my parents stayed at Goel Residency, and I regret trusting the place with their comfort and safety. We booked it as a family stay, but the old lady managing it was rude and disrespectful, with no basic hospitality. Her attitude left my parents feeling unwelcome, uncomfortable, and stressed. No guest, especially elderly parents, should have to deal with that kind of negativity from the person managing the place. They checked in at 10:30 AM. I had requested a four-hour extension, so they should have been able to stay until 2:30 PM, but staff at Hotel Goel, especially the old lady, insisted they leave by 12 or 12:30. She kept rudely and arrogantly telling them to check out. I paid ₹1500, an amount that should cover a full day’s stay, not just two or four hours. It was an awful experience. I’d strongly advise others to avoid this place if they expect even minimum respect and hospitality. Never ever book here.

I waited nearly 30 minutes at reception with no staff available, and there was no proper service or attendance during my stay. They didn’t even provide toiletries. The room condition was extremely pathetic and nowhere near worth the price. The owner, Mrs. Geol, charged three times the amount shown on online booking sites. My check-in and check-out times were odd, so I reluctantly agreed, and deeply regret it. The behavior may seem polite, but the service is very poor and totally unprofessional. Worst hotel stay of my life. I’d never recommend it to anyone.

The owner is a sweet-natured, humble lady, and her support staff are well trained and cooperative. We had a very comfortable 15-day stay at Hotel Goel Residency. Our room was clean and all the amenities worked well. It’s conveniently located beside the Metro station, affordable eateries, and markets. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay.
