I went to Hotel Al Gulzar but decided not to check in after seeing how the staff behaved. Arshad especially was arrogant and had no manners when speaking to customers. His attitude was unpleasant enough that I left for another hotel. There was no respect or service here, just rudeness. Absolutely not recommended.

There’s no lift, and the reception is on the second floor, which they misleadingly call the first floor. This place isn’t recommended for families at all. The service is pathetic, and it doesn’t even feel like a hotel, lodges are better. The staff are arrogant and unprofessional, with no manners when speaking to customers. Arshad’s behavior was especially unacceptable. If negative stars were an option, I’d give them.

The staff made us feel at home, and the location was perfect for sightseeing. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the hotel! Krofile · May 20, 2025

The room was neat and clean, with beds for three people. The washroom was old but clean, and the location near Jamia masjid was overcrowded. The service wasn’t good, though. When we checked out, we asked them to hold our small backpacks because our flight was in the evening, but they refused. It also smelled bad in the surroundings outside the hotel.

The location is very good, with lots of food options, and it’s just opposite Jama Masjid. The rooms are a little better than average, but there’s no lift, which could be a challenge. The washrooms are small, and you may find some cockroaches around.
