I’m writing to complain about Hotel O, Laxmi Nagar, for demanding extra money and causing me unnecessary mental harassment despite my confirmed OYO booking. My booking ID is V41U2561, and the agreed amount was ₹800/-. After I reached or contacted the property, staff refused to honor that price and demanded ₹1,256/- instead, pressuring me to pay the difference. I believe this is a misleading practice after confirmation, violates consumer rights, amounts to unfair trade practice and mental harassment, and may breach the agreement between OYO and the customer. Please take strict legal action against the hotel management, direct them to honor the confirmed amount, stop the extra payment demands, and ensure other customers don’t face the same treatment.

My parents arrived at 2 PM and still waited more than 1.5 hours for a room. When they asked to move to another one, they were made to wait another 2 hours. The room was small and unclean, with no space to stand or put luggage. The AC leaked, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the geyser didn’t work. There was no wardrobe, no amenities, and no toiletries. Don’t be fooled by the online photos. The location is sketchy and it isn’t family friendly. Worst hotel, don’t book. 0 stars.

At booking, they asked us for 1300 rupees extra because we only had a soft copy of our adhar card, saying it wasn’t updated. We’ve travelled all over India, with Laxmi Nagar as our last stop for one day, and visited different hotels, including premium luxury ones. None of them gave us this reason, but this hotel has a strict policy 😅. Very bad experience with the staff.

The pictures make this place look much better than it is. The room smelled, there was no ventilation, and the beds were unpleasant. The washroom is so cramped you can barely shower, its lock is broken, and there was an electrical current in the shower. Everything was bad. Don’t go.

Staying at Hotel Anvit Residency - By The Arrow felt comfortable and modern. The rooms are well appointed, the facilities are clean, and the amenities are good. Staff were friendly, and local attractions were easy to reach. It seems suited to families, business travelers, or solo visitors.
