The online photos give a very different impression from the hotel itself. Basic amenities were broken or in terrible shape, and the place seemed poorly managed and maintained. For the money, it simply wasn’t worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here if cleanliness, comfort, or basic standards matter to you. My room and washroom were in awful condition. The toilet seat was broken, the fittings were damaged, and everything looked old and dirty. There were stains, rusty taps, and unclean surfaces all over. The hygiene was shocking.

The service was excellent throughout my stay at Hotel Dolphin. The staff went out of their way to make things pleasant, and the front office staff member Amarjeet singh welcomed me warmly and handled check-in smoothly. They were friendly, efficient, and made sure my needs were taken care of. Hotel Dolphin international was well kept, with spacious rooms, modern amenities, and a clean, comfortable feel. Rooms: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Location:
The TV was basically for show, playing telebrand Ads around the clock with not one decent channel. The room itself was nice and clean, though, and the rates are budget friendly. It’s a cheap, mediocre place tucked somewhere at the corner of the lane, fine for a short stay. I wouldn’t suggest it for families, but it seems quite good for bachelors. If you need to be near Aerocity and Delhi Airport, it’s an option.
Fab handled my complaint professionally, and some basics did work: the AC and fan ran, the bed was fine, and there was a blanket, water, and soap. They brought a chair when I asked, and I eventually got a towel the next day. That’s about where the positives end. I booked what was meant to be a deluxe room, but I wouldn’t even call it standard. I waited hours to check in. I arrived at 5 pm for a noon check-in, was first told the room needed 15 minutes, then 30 minutes for drain cleaning. At 7 pm it still wasn’t ready because the AC was supposedly being repaired. After I complained to FabHotel, I finally got in at 7:30. There’s no lift, and my room was on the fourth floor, so I had to carry my luggage up five floors. The room smelled of construction debris. There were rough edges that scratched my skin, dust on the floor, exposed live wires at the bathroom plug, and half the plug points didn’t work. The fan was very low: I’m 5ft 6in and it spun at 6ft. The western commode had no toilet or jet spray. The shower didn’t work, and although they provided a bucket, it was dirty with construction materials and smelled of paint. There was no mug at first. The one I requested arrived 30 minutes later from the corridor, with whitewash material on it, so I had to clean it too. No towel was provided until the next day. I had booked another stay after this, but when I saw similar comments, I cancelled right away and booked a new room through Agoda, paying 25% extra for the 3 star hotel I expected. I can’t understand how this worthless place has so many 5 star reviews. I wouldn’t give it even 1 star.
There’s no parking, and the street has open sewage lines with huge holes and a strong smell of potty all the way. If you arrive by car, expect it might get dented. It feels like nobody would survive if there were an earthquake. Best to take a room on the highway and stay tension free.
