The area outside Hotel Emporio, Delhi felt unsafe to me, with Tapori-type people roaming around, so I wouldn’t consider it suitable for families. Inside, nearly everything was dirty and unhygienic: the rooms, washroom, chairs, tables, sheets, and towels. The washroom was filthy, and the towels they gave us were dirty. They even used them outside the washroom to wipe feet. There were cockroaches everywhere, broken walls with peeling paint, and white powder (chuna) kept falling down. The walls were covered in gutkha stains. The lights didn’t work properly, and the room smelled terrible the whole time. My stay was absolutely pathetic, a complete disaster and a horrible waste of money. Never book this hotel.

The room wasn’t comfortable for our three people, as it was very small, and there wasn’t even a room number on the door. I booked through Goibibo for one day and was given a dirty room, with stained bedsheets and pillows. The bathroom was unclean, had no jetspray, a very loose tap, and a shower with very slow water. The water smelled like a gutter. The food and service were good, though.

I booked through Ixigo, but when I arrived they demanded another 5k and said I could stay only if I paid it. Don’t book this place via ixigo. They don’t even reimburse the amount.

I’ve stayed in many hotels in Delhi, and none has given me service this bad. This was the worst. Please consider another place for your stay.

I called one day earlier to ask about early check-in, but the staff never mentioned there would be an extra charge. When I arrived, the hotel wanted 500 for checking in early. That was a first for me.
