Hotel Garden View

The watch man had more sense than the staff, who seemed unqualified and didn’t know how to deal with clients. The room was dirty, filthy, and badly neglected. The blankets, duvets, and sheets were old, stained, and unwashed. The winter blankets were unusable and smelled strongly. Most TV channels didn’t work because of due payment. I regret staying here and wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was much smaller than advertised, about 100sqft instead of the 320sqft they mentioned. It wasn’t a garden view either, just a bush view. The receptionist gave me a different room from the one I booked, and since it was prepaid I couldn’t cancel. The room floor, Geyser, and locks were broken, as shown in my photos. I had to shower in another room because my geyser didn’t work, then return to my own room. Those other rooms were untidy too.

For this price the bathroom is far too small and poorly maintained, and the pillow covers were dirty. They didn’t bring breakfast to my room despite several requests, and there wasn’t a hanger in the cupboard. They wouldn’t provide one when I asked either. Management doesn’t know how to speak to customers.

I was there for at least 15 days, and it was a wonderful stay. The rooms were especially neat and clean. The food was the best part, home-cooked and hygienic. Staff were polite and helpful, and most responded promptly. I’d recommend it for a long stay.
