Hotel Golden Glory

They charged more than we'd discussed, then denied what they'd said. They just want your cash, and after that, you can go to hell. If someone accidentally pays too much, they won't point it out, they'll just keep it. Everyone was rude on top of that. A terrible experience. Never host a function here.

Things were delayed, and there was no cleaning or hygiene. The service was pathetic, and it felt like they only cared about taking your hard-earned money. Very bad experience. Don't ever book this place for a function. Terrible people, only after the money.

We didn't get any room service, and there wasn't even handwash, shower gel, soap, or a glass for water. The whole experience was pathetic and annoying. I'd strongly advise you not to book here because the hospitality was awful, and the manager and receptionist behaved inhumanely. I booked online and came with my family, but the receptionist, a very rude and cocky woman, refused to let us in, saying they didn't accept online bookings. She told me, "Our rooms are priced at 2500 and I can't give this room to someone who has booked it online for the cheaper price". My brother, his daughter, and I had travelled almost 25 km from NDLS after our train was delayed by 7 hours, and we were exhausted. She seemed greedy and ignored even basic hospitality over money. I filed a complaint with "Make my Trip", where I'd booked. Their customer care was efficient and told the receptionist to let us check in. Even then, her ego seemed hurt. She questioned and doubted my family after I'd shown our Aadhar Card.

The staff showed no real hospitality and seemed to care more about money than guests. I'd advise anyone travelling to this area to avoid Hotel Golden Glory. Take my word for it, steer clear of the place. I wouldn't want anyone else to have the disappointment I had. I paid and received a confirmation for my booking, but when I arrived at Hotel Golden Glory, they refused to honor it. They said prices had suddenly gone up and they couldn't accommodate me. That left me with serious doubts about their professionalism, integrity, and reliability as a hospitality provider. Hospitality should mean making guests feel welcome and comfortable, but that wasn't my experience. The whole incident left a sour taste in my mouth.
