The rooms were neat, the staff were accommodating, and for the price I had a good stay. The one odd part was the room service food: it was prepared in a small area right beside the main entrance, directly off the road. That didn’t seem very clean. Apart from that, pretty good.

The food experience was the worst part of my stay. We waited 45 minutes to an hour for our order at the advertised rooftop restaurant, and staff gave us no clear updates or accountability. We were ready to leave and eat elsewhere, but they asked us to stay and promised faster service. The food arrived after another long wait, and every family member had serious digestion problems, including vomiting. We had to rush to a hospital the next day. I told reception about the food and the health problems; they said they would act, but nobody followed up. There were a few positives: check-in went smoothly, the room was decent, and room service staff were polite and responsive. But hot water was available only from 6 am to noon, with none at night, which was especially inconvenient in winter. That restriction hadn’t been made clear when I booked. The stay left us stressed and unwell. Given the restaurant hygiene concerns, lack of follow-up, and the rooftop restaurant claim, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The rooftop garden had a cozy feel, so we usually ate dinner there. The food was good, and room service kept the room clean, with cleaning almost every day. Our room had no windows, but it was still well ventilated, and the rooms were in good condition. I stayed comfortably with my family and would recommend the hotel for anyone wanting to be near New Delhi railway station.

The rooms were much more basic than the “premium deluxe AC stay” description suggests. At around ₹2,000-₹3,000, I thought they were worth perhaps ₹1,000 at most. They’re old and not soundproof, so there’s constant honking outside and you can hear staff talking and laughing at night. The kitchen is said to be open all the time, but choices are limited. Breakfast is sparse, with no black tea or coffee. The setting is a very crowded local road, where bikes, rickshaws, pedestrians, vendors, and people cooking and eating all share the street. Even standing by the roadside feels risky. The hotel looks like a five-star place in photos, but inside it felt like a mess. If you’re a foreigner looking for a raw experience of India, maybe that’s appealing. For someone visiting Delhi from outside the city for the first time, it could put you off coming back. The front desk staff were unfriendly, especially the older man on the evening shift and the woman at the desk. They never smiled unless you were a foreigner. The older man spoke Hindi to us, often rudely, as though we were staying for free. I won’t come back, and I’d strongly advise people from outside Delhi to avoid it. You may end up hating the stay, and possibly the city too.
