Hotel Iconic Plaza

As a Bombay girl traveling alone in Delhi, I was worried about feeling unsafe at first. The staff's courteous, attentive, and supportive behavior helped me feel secure throughout the stay. They were professional and always willing to help, which made the whole Delhi experience much better than I'd expected. I'd recommend this hotel, especially to solo female travelers. Please don't stay here. The room was filthy, with stained sheets, and we weren't even given towels. We didn't want to touch anything. We arrived at 4 AM with friends who had booked another room, but the hotel said only ours was ready and claimed theirs was still being prepared. They kept our friends waiting ONE MORE HOUR. Two minutes before handing over the room, they saw someone check out. It was obvious they'd given our friends that person's room without changing the sheets. You can hear everything inside the hotel from the room, and cars honk outside at all hours, so there was no way to rest. This was one of my worst experiences. We were taken in by all the good reviews, though I don't know if they're fake or what's going on. You'll regret staying here.

Neha at reception was pleasant and very accommodating. The morning reception men were quite rude, but all in all I had a good stay. The room service butter chicken is worth a try. It's a surprisingly good option when you need somewhere near the airport.

The only good part was the service desk woman, who was very kind and helpful. The hotel charged too much for food, and the quality was bad enough to make us feel sick. The rooms were dingy and uncomfortable, with no windows or natural light. There were no fans, AC was only in some rooms, and the sheets had cigarette burns.
