Kastle Guest House

The rooms are clean and quite spacious, and the staff are helpful and well mannered. It’s near Happy School, with Jama Masjid metro station closest, on the Kasturba Hospital side at Gate no 1.

The location and rooms are good, but the TV didn't work and the washrooms weren't that great.

They expect an advance payment every day, which I’ve only experienced at this hotel. Reception staff are never there when you need them, and they insist you tell them before going out. When I said nobody was at reception, I was told to wait or go find them and then let them know. They want me to pay and also do the work of tracking them down. Booking here could ruin your holiday or trip.

Darya Ganj is a handy base for seeing nearby Chandni Chownk, Jama Masjid, and Red Fort. Janpath and CP take about 20-30 minutes to reach, while Sarojini or Lajpat Nagar Markets may take 45 minutes or more. The place is cozy and not too expensive, with good wifi, good service, and spacious rooms.
