Hotel Jindal International

The location is really unpleasant, with a dirty road and someone urinating near it. The hotel itself is set down like an underground place, and the lift is a major issue. Inside, the room was dirty and old, the AC didn't work properly, and cockroaches were moving around. Food service was poor and expensive.

My son Madhav Mohan Dube booked a one-day stay for three people because of the hotel's reputation and its location near the airport. We arrived on the night of 11.08.16 and were put in room 306. It was a very unpleasant night. There was no water in the washroom all night, despite repeated calls to reception. The toilet also smelled awful. Staff saw the septic chamber inside the room that was causing the odor and flies, but they wouldn't move us. They just gave us air freshener, and getting through the night was difficult. We had asked that day for a taxi for 7 AM the next morning. There was no proper response until 6:55 AM, when they suddenly demanded a huge fare at the last minute. We had to pay because we urgently needed to get to the airport. The staff were neither friendly nor accommodating, and refused ordinary requests for facilities. The authorities should look into the unhealthy conditions and the excessive charge, and room 306 should not be assigned to anyone else.

I spent two nights in room 110, and it was the worst hotel experience I've had. The bedsheets were filthy with oil stains, the blankets were dirty, the old towels were torn, and the mattress stank. The split AC dripped water on me while I slept. The bathroom had no ventilation, so the bad smell stayed trapped in the room. Its door was badly damaged, and the handle and lock on the main door were hanging loose. The television socket and the room key socket were also loose and unsafe. Staff didn't respond appropriately when I raised issues. It seemed to me that the owner wasn't interested in maintenance or facilities. NDMC/MCD should inspect the hotel for safety, hygiene, fire protection, and ventilation, and cancel its license and seal it immediately. I would never recommend staying here. Booking sites should stop offering it. I don't understand how it has a 03 Star rating. It doesn't deserve any stars.

The whole Paharganj area felt filthy, and this hotel was a definite no for me. Cockroaches were scurrying around the cupboard, while the bed sheets and pillow covers were very dirty and marked with oil.
