Hotel Krone Delhi

I checked in at 4:50 pm and checked out at 6:20 pm. That's how bad it was. I couldn't stay even three hours. The service and staff behavior were awful, and the manager was rude to guests while backing up mannerless staff. Hotels all along that same line should treat guests respectfully and be polite. Other guests, be careful when booking.

The room had no water bottle at all, despite Goibibo charging around 1700/- for a package that included things like a fruit basket. The bed linen was covered with hairs of different sizes and textures. They replaced it right away when I complained, but the fresh bedsheet was torn. That seems normal here. I uploaded a picture of the complementary breakfast for reference. I wouldn't say this is worth more than ₹ 700/day. I checked in after half the day had passed, but they still said checkout was by 11. Once I pointed out that my booking confirmation said 12, they backed down. I stayed another 30 minutes without paying extra, thankfully. Uber to terminal 2 cost ₹170/-, so the hotel isn't that near the airport.

Cockroaches were all over the bedroom, and the lift didn't work. There was dampness everywhere in the room and a strong unpleasant smell. In the bathroom, there was no water, the geyser wasn't working, and current seemed to be flowing through the tap, which felt unsafe. The pictures on Goibibo and Booking.com are completely misleading. Complimentary breakfast was listed on both sites, but nothing was provided. An airport shuttle was listed too, but we didn't get one. Even after we paid for the shuttle, the driver was rude. This was my worst hotel stay, and the place is poorly maintained. I don't recommend it.

They promised complimentary one-way airport transportation, then denied it at the last moment, saying there was no car. Poor service, and a waste of money. I won't book here again and would advise others against it. The online pictures seem to be from a different hotel and are completely misleading. In the first room, nothing worked: stained walls, a broken washroom and tap, a non-working AC, and a geyser that wasn't functioning. We changed rooms three times without any improvement. Eventually they moved us to Hotel Tark, which had pictures similar to the ones posted online, but those rooms were still pathetic.
