We got there around 11:30 AM and were told it would cost an extra 200 rupees to get the room then, otherwise we’d have to wait until noon. After a short discussion, they gave us the room. The lift wasn’t working at first either. Staff said it was broken and they’d reported it, but it started working two hours later. I asked for a towel, and they said a guy would bring one, but nobody showed up even after five hours. I eventually checked out. This had happened on our previous visit too, though we hadn’t complained then. We asked for a remote as well and got the same promise, plus a suggestion to look in a nearby room. Nobody brought one. The water they gave us was in a crushed, already-used single-use Bisleri bottle. Staff came by four times for the check-in OTP and didn’t know where to enter it, so we had to help. They weren’t considerate at all. Whenever I think OYO is improving, I end up having another bad experience. They should be trying to make the stay better.

Mosquitoes were everywhere, and they didn’t provide any All-out. The washroom was extremely unhygienic, the sheets had holes, and the glasses in the room felt sticky. There were no sealed water bottles, so I had to order water and disposable glasses from blinkit. I asked for soap several times, but they only gave me a shampoo pouch to wash my hands. Bad experience.

Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. It’s about a five-minute walk from new sainik school.

The first hotel wouldn’t honor my booking because the owner said they no longer had a tie-up with Oyo. I contacted Oyo customer service, and they moved the booking to this hotel near the original location. This one was good, with a clean room and most of the basic amenities.
