Hotel Oak plaza New Delhi

Our stay at Oak Plaza in Paharganj was comfortable and pleasant, and made our Delhi trip more enjoyable. The hotel was kept clean, and whenever we had questions the staff responded quickly and were polite and helpful. I'd rate the experience 9/10.

Getting an Uber or Ola was easy since the hotel is right on the roadside. The room was a decent size and comfortable, though its location near the railway station and main road means some outside noise. It won't suit someone looking for a completely soundproof room. Room service was average. There was still dust, and the floor could've been cleaner. Restaurant service also needs work: we waited nearly an hour for food and had to remind the staff before it was freshly prepared and served. The food itself tasted good. Breakfast was limited but acceptable for the price. There were no South Indian dishes, mostly eggs, parathas, bread, juices, tea or coffee, cut fruit, poha or macaroni, and chicken or fish items.

For a budget stay in Paharganj, it was an average option for a short trip. The location was handy, close to both the railway station and market. The rooms were decent for the price, although cleanliness and upkeep could be a little better. Check-in went smoothly and the staff were polite.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. I felt relaxed and well looked after, and I'd happily stay again or recommend it to someone visiting Delhi. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. My room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with careful attention to cleanliness and amenities. The location was ideal, close to New Delhi Railway station. Special thanks to Mr Pradeep ji for his support and hospitality.
