Hotel Shyam Palace Dx

The rooms and bedsheets were unclean, and the washrooms were unhygienic. I got sick after staying here. The staff had no manners or basic etiquette, and the service was awful. I'd consider other options, even a dharamshala over this place.

The manager's money demands made me feel cheated. He asked for extra money through an online UPI payment, and I felt trapped and helpless with no other option at that hour. He'd also taken payment before showing me the room, which I foolishly agreed to, expecting at least basic standards. Instead, the room was filthy and neglected. The sheets were so dirty and stained I couldn't bring myself to sleep in them. Towels were threadbare and stained, the toilet was in awful condition and smelled unbearable, and the room had no TV even though the hotel advertised one. They charged extra for this miserable accommodation. The manager's behavior felt deceptive from the start. I'd urge anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. The lack of basic amenities, unhygienic conditions, and dishonest practices left me regretting my stay as soon as I walked in. This place is a disgrace and a rip-off. Save your money and frustration, and find somewhere more reputable.

The bathroom was very dirty, and the room was bad. When I arrived, the bedsheets and pillow covers hadn't been changed. I said I couldn't sleep like that, and they replaced them. The room boy was helpful and changed the bedding right after I asked. I was alone and somehow managed to spend the night, but I wouldn't go there with family.
