Hotel Sunstar Residency

The hotel is in a handy spot, with a nearby market, and the other facilities were decent. But room and food service were extremely poor. A simple cup of tea took over 45 minutes and never arrived. When I asked to cancel it, the staff just said it wouldn’t be added to the bill, without apologizing. That felt indifferent and unprofessional. The room furniture also looked worn and outdated, as if it hadn’t been updated in 30-40 years. Service and room condition need serious improvement.

The great reviews for Sunstar Residency are deserved, even if there can sometimes be reasons to doubt reviews. The rooms and hotel were spotlessly clean and excellent value. Mr. Nitin, who takes care of the hotel, was especially helpful. The guard was very cheap and disgusting, but everything else was very good. Special thanks to Mr. Nitin.

We arrived at 9 AM and asked politely if we could use a room just to freshen up before going sightseeing. The request was refused, and we had to wait until 1 PM, which wasted our time. Google lists check-in as 12 PM, but the hotel said its rule was 1 PM. There were several rooms available, yet receptionist Priyansh, who had joined recently, insisted there was only one and wouldn’t accommodate us. The room itself was decent, but the receptionist’s rude behavior, lack of flexibility, and poor communication were highly unprofessional and significantly affected our one-night stay.

Well-maintained rooms and a wonderful environment. The hotel staff provided very good facilities and were cooperative.
