OYO 16375 Melfort Inn

There was no water in the dirty washroom, and the food was poor too. Neither the AC nor the TV worked, and the bedsheet and mattress were dirty. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures, and the hotel provided no amenities. A very bad stay.

We paid online for two days, but left after 12 hours because of the hygiene problems. The room was in very bad shape, with dirty blankets and bedsheets and a filthy washroom. We asked for it to be cleaned and were ignored. When we complained to Oyo, their service team called the hotel, but the staff refused a refund and shouted at us during the call. The reception staff also spoke badly to us. It was a really poor experience, and I wouldn't book here.

The room was filthy, and there was a urine smell coming from somewhere. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Don't book this useless hotel. I'd rate it 0/5 as a real review, or 1/5 for Google.

The working AC and elevator were useful, and the bedsheet was clean. The hotel is close to the airport. Beyond that, this was a terrible stay. The bathroom was badly broken, with rusty fittings, a nonworking flush, and sometimes no water. Complimentary breakfast came cold and was unappealing. The hotel food was bad and not worth paying for. Under the bed there was litter and dust, including carry bags, cutlery, and bottles. We waited almost five hours after checking in before being offered another room. They said the earlier one was occupied, which made no sense when we'd paid and had just come off a long trip. When I raised the maintenance problems, staff said they needed experienced plumbers and those people were expensive. The owner could be earning nearly 50k a month if rooms were booked for 25 days, yet apparently couldn't put 5k a month into maintenance. When I asked why the complimentary food was cold, they brushed it off by saying it had been made early that morning. Another guest said they'd stayed three days without receiving what they were promised. I pointed out that I could order better and cheaper food from outside; staff said I could, even though reception to the rooms there are bold signs saying outside food isn't allowed. This was our second time falling prey to what felt like a fraud cartel in mahipalpur. I booked online, but the listing had a different name, location, and pictures. After I called out the mismatch, they cancelled the booking around midnight, so we'd have no proof we'd booked. I'd advise people to book in person or call first and ask for current pictures. If you've already been caught out, speak up and take action.
